• Zero kilometres on the plate: meat, vegetables, cereals, dairy products and cheese are all sourced from local farmers, whilst wild herbs, mushrooms and berries come from our own garden and the surrounding forests. Only things that do not grow here are purchased in our wider environment.

  • Our farm and pasture land are ecologically certified.

  • Green choice: our guests can play an active part in protecting the environment by foregoing cleaning of their rooms on some days. In return, for every “green” day, we will treat them to a voucher worth € 5, which can be used to pay for anything consumed in the hotel.

  • Our suppliers use as little plastic as possible and have reusable crates for deliveries. This reduces waste and rubbish!

  • For the good of our environment we avoid plastic wherever possible and use natural and high quality alternatives. For example, our cleaning products and detergents for the hotel linen are biodegradable and can be washed with only 30°C!

  • The local mountains set the tone in our SPA: for our massages and treatments we use natural cosmetics that are produced in South Tyrol.

  • The toiletries in your bathroom also meet our ecological standards and are made in South Tyrol using natural raw materials.

  • The in-house, environmentally-friendly wood-chip heating system provides pleasant warmth throughout the hotel and a comfortable water temperature in the pool – with a green conscience.

  • We support green mobility and therefore have also installed a charging station for electric vehicles at the hotel.  In addition, green electricity is provided by our supplier!

  • With sustainability as our mission, we have set ourselves an ambitious target that we are tackling step by step – in the tried and tested manner of mountaineers. And so every season we are implementing new measures to protect the environment. We will be pleased to tell you more!
