Sesto’s famous mountain guide, Sepp Innerkofler, opened the Dolomitenhof in 1905. In 1907, the Alte Post was built near the terminus of the stagecoach from San Candido to Sesto. Today, both the hotel in Sesto Moso and the annexe are owned by descendants of the great mountaineer.
