Bellum Aquilarum
From 1915 to 1918, the Sesto Dolomites were ravaged by the First World War. At altitudes of over 2,900 metres, Austrians and Italians defended their positions under the most adverse conditions. Bellum Aquilarum is an open-air museum in the mountains and a permanent exhibition in the village.
